Looking after your cutlery

Cutlery care (V&B shared guide)

  1. Wash immediately after use. If cutlery is left unwashed for a long time, acids from food residue can attack the oxide layer that protects the rust-proof stainless steel; washing straight away also avoids tarnishing.
  2. Place the cutlery in the basket with the handles pointing downwards, upright and unsorted, so the water jets reach all soiled parts.
  3. Remove the cutlery from the dishwasher as soon as the cycle is complete; wipe items that are still damp dry.
  4. Follow the dishwasher's operating instructions and use only the recommended detergents and rinse aids; tablets are best, so the correct amount is used.
