Looking after your Toy's Delight

V&B product care labels differ by piece

  1. Check each product page: V&B lists 'Wash by hand' for most pieces, 'dishwasher safe' for some, and 'for decoration only' for others.

Porcelain care (V&B shared guide)

  1. Select a low temperature programme for a mild wash.
  2. Because water quality varies by region, make sure enough decalcifying agent is used.
  3. Take care when arranging items in the dishwasher: chips and cracks often occur at this stage.
  4. Observe the dishwasher manufacturer's advice on wash time and quantity of detergent.
  5. Wash large solid objects by hand.
  6. Open the dishwasher once the wash cycle is over to let the steam escape and prevent condensation.
