Care and use

Looking after your pieces

Washing

  1. Warm water, a cloth and washing-up liquid are usually all you need to wash your crockery after use.
  2. Dishwasher: items can go in the dishwasher provided they are dishwasher-safe. Depending on the level of residue, rinse the dishes first.
  3. Hand wash with a mild washing-up liquid decorative items in hard porcelain and porcelain crockery with gold or silver detailing.

Stains and limescale

  1. Rinse briefly after use: coffee, tea, red wine and foods such as beetroot can stain crockery.
  2. Stained crockery: household products such as baking powder, lemon juice or vinegar can be used. Lemon juice or highly diluted vinegar also removes limescale deposits.
  3. Stubborn residue: a ceramic hob cleaner or a non-scratch cleaning product / porcelain cleaner can be used.
