- The robust material makes the crockery extremely resilient to the daily stresses of washing and serving. Villeroy & Boch tableware is made from hard porcelain, Premium Porcelain, Premium Bone Porcelain and earthenware; these materials are dishwasher-safe, except decorative items in hard porcelain and porcelain crockery with gold or silver detailing, which V&B recommends washing by hand with a mild washing-up liquid. Coffee, tea and some foods can stain: rinse after use; baking powder, lemon juice or vinegar help with stains.
