Care and use
Looking after your Villeroy & Boch tableware
Washing
- Everyday: warm water, a cloth and washing-up liquid are usually all you need after use.
- Stubborn residue: use a ceramic hob cleaner or a non-scratch porcelain cleaner, or soak the item first to loosen caked-on food.
- Dishwasher: items can go in the dishwasher provided they are dishwasher-safe; rinse first if there is a lot of residue.
Gold and silver detail
- Hand wash: porcelain with gold or silver detailing can be affected by the mechanical, chemical and thermal action of a dishwasher, so Villeroy & Boch recommends hand washing it with a gentle washing-up liquid.
