Looking after your Vintage Steel

Cleaning

  1. Wash thoroughly in warm soapy water before first use.
  2. Hand wash in warm soapy water after every use. The product is dishwasher safe, but hand washing helps prolong its life.
  3. Dry completely with a soft cloth after each wash.
  4. If it shows signs of tarnish, rub with a metal polish compound and a soft cloth.
  5. Do not scrub with an abrasive sponge or use industrial detergent.

Use

  1. Safe for direct food contact.
  2. Do not use over direct heat or flame; not for use in a microwave.
  3. Do not leave wet, as permanent water marks may stain the surface.
  4. Some Vintage Steel products have brass handles, which will tarnish over time.
