Care and use

Looking after copper plating

Cleaning

  1. Wash thoroughly in warm soapy water before first use, and hand wash in warm soapy water only after every use. Not dishwasher safe.
  2. Dry completely with a soft cloth after each wash; do not leave wet, as permanent water marks may stain the surface.
  3. If tarnish shows, rub with a metal polish compound and a soft cloth.
  4. Do not scrub with an abrasive sponge or use industrial detergent.

Use

  1. Copper will naturally oxidise over a period of time.
  2. Do not let the plated surface touch acidic foods such as vinegar and lime.
  3. Do not use over direct heat or flame.
